The Commission’s Equity Programming and Community Outreach (EPCO) team will host the second of six Application Clinics to support prospective applicants interested in applying for the SEP. The program offers free, statewide technical assistance and training that creates sustainable pathways into the regulated cannabis industry for individuals most impacted by the War on Drugs.
Commission staff will provide applicants with resources to assist their submission of application materials to the SEP and provide additional information about the program. To learn more about the application process, please visit masscannabiscontrol.com/equity.
Participants will receive support in the following areas:
- Creating an account- through the online Massachusetts Cannabis Industry Portal (MassCIP), thereby enabling participants to walk away with a fully set-up MassCIP account;
- Understanding eligibility criteria for acceptance into the SEP;
- Learning about required and accepted documentation;
- Clarifying benefits offered to participants accepted into the SEP; and
- Answers to frequently asked questions.
The following resources also will be available:
- Investigations and Enforcement resources about the Commission’s licensing process;
- Technical Assistance and Training information, including SEP curriculum course sheets and course descriptions;
- Brockton City Officials and staff to share the municipal perspective of the local licensing process.
- MassCultivatED expungement resources; and
