Associate Enforcement Counsel

The Associate Enforcement Counsel, under the direction of the Enforcement Counsel, represents the Commission in adjudicatory proceedings under M.G.L. c. 30A alleging violations of Commission laws and in informal proceedings relative to suitability disputes. The Associate Enforcement Counsel provides legal support to Enforcement Counsel in advising the agency on all enforcement-related matters.

Deputy General Counsel

Desktop Support Analyst

Under the direction of the Director of Information and Security Operations, the Desktop Support Analyst will provide desktop support and help desk functionality for the Commission. Desktop support is defined as, but not limited to managing LAN operations at site, software and hardware installations, inventory control and management, troubleshooting, network account management, and second level training.

Developer/Power Platform Administrator

Responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance and enhancements of the Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform application systems in test and production operations, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation. Strategize, design, and implement security models for controlling access. Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology, version control, appropriate testing, and risk guidelines. Acts as an internal expert in terms of the assigned system and is responsible for knowing and recording changes to the base system. Plays a critical role in delivering high-quality customer service and support to various levels of internal users. Conducts technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions, performing needs assessments, and managing product lifecycle for clients.

Director of IT and Security Operations

The Director of IT & Security Operations, under the direction of the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO), is responsible for the day-to-day IT Operations of the Commission, including managing the IT Helpdesk, end-user hardware and software, account and identity management, cloud application administration, IT and security infrastructure across multi-locations including remote staff with an emphasis on cybersecurity. The Director of IT & Security Operations is also responsible for technology equipment inventory, employee onboarding/offboarding and managing replacement lifecycles, security and IT controls, performing internal IT audits, and maintaining documentation. This position, in conjunction with the CTIO, will work closely with decision-makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Investigator

The Cannabis Control Commission Investigator conducts inspections and investigations of licensed marijuana establishments in the Commonwealth to ensure understanding and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations. A significant component of this position includes visiting marijuana establishments across the Commonwealth and completing regulatory compliance inspections/audits targeting operational requirements, and may include specific cultivation product manufacturing and, retail requirements as pertains to the license type, as well as facility management requirements.

Legal Assistant

Under the direction of the General Counsel and other members of the Legal Department, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing routine legal matters.
