Share Your Feedback on Social Equity Program Benefits
The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission’s Equity Programming and Community Outreach Department is seeking feedback on current Social Equity Program benefits and the future of cannabis equity initiatives in Massachusetts.
The survey asks about the usefulness of current SEP benefits, barriers to entering and remaining in the regulated cannabis industry, municipal experiences, workforce development, business sustainability, and possible program, policy, legislative, and regulatory improvements.
We welcome feedback from SEP participants, Economic Empowerment Applicants and Businesses, cannabis applicants and licensees, ancillary businesses, municipal officials, community organizations, professional service providers, workforce development organizations, industry partners, advocates, and members of the public.
The survey will close on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The EPCO Department will also hold two virtual stakeholder engagement sessions through Zoom:
- Virtual Working Group Session I: Wednesday, September 16, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Virtual Working Group Session II: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The survey includes a question asking whether you would like to participate in one of the sessions. Respondents who are interested may select their preferred session and provide their contact information to receive an invitation.
Feedback collected through the survey and stakeholder sessions will help the Commission evaluate existing benefits, identify gaps, and develop recommendations to better support equitable participation and long-term success in the Massachusetts regulated cannabis industry.
