Cannabis Control Commission to Host Public Meeting at Mason Public Library in Great Barrington on August 22 to Hear from Outdoor Cultivators
WORCESTER—On Thursday, August 22, starting at 11 a.m., the Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) will host a Public Meeting at the Mason Public Library in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, including the first of what will be a quarterly schedule of Public Listening Sessions to enable constituents the ability to provide feedback to the agency about priority policy topics.
Outdoor Cultivators, host communities, and other stakeholders are invited to share input with Commissioners about the ongoing regulation of a safe, effective, and equitable cannabis industry in Massachusetts. The event will be open to the public and broadcast in real time via Teams Live through a link that will be posted to the Commission’s website.
This hearing is intended for Commissioners to hear from the public regarding Outdoor Cultivation. Those wishing to provide testimony in person, either as a group or as an individual, will be able to sign up on-site and will be allotted three minutes to provide feedback.
Those that are unable to attend August 22, but wish to share input with Commissioners, may email their comments to Commission@CCCMass.com with the subject line “Cultivation” by August 30, 2024. Any materials sent to the Commission may be subject to disclosure in response to a public records request pursuant to the Public Records laws, G.L. c.4 §7 cl. 26 and G.L. c.66 §10.
We look forward to seeing you there!
