Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Chief of Investigation and Enforcement (CIE) is a member of the Cannabis Control Commission’s senior management team. The CIE oversees the Investigations and Enforcement division of the Commission, which includes the Licensing, Testing, Investigations, Enforcement Projects, Enforcement Training, and Enforcement Counsel staff. The CIE is responsible for the overall implementation and compliance of the Commonwealth’s cannabis laws and regulations through compliance, enforcement, training, and education initiatives.

Director of Testing Compliance

The Director of Testing Compliance, under the direction of the Chief of Investigations and Enforcement (CIE), is responsible for the oversight and management of the Testing team to ensure effective monitoring of Independent Testing Laboratories (ITLs) to ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards. This position is responsible for collaborating with other teams within the Investigations and Enforcement Department, ensuring that licensed Marijuana Establishments (ME) and Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MTCs) throughout the Commonwealth are adhering to/complying with the Cannabis Control Commission’s regulations and established protocols in a consistent manner with the objective to further the Commission’s mission of ensuring access to compliantly tested Marijuana and Marijuana Products.
