Subject: | Bulletin – Modification to the Three (3) Business Day Licensee Notification Requirement for Commence Operations |
This Bulletin applies to all Marijuana Establishments and Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (collectively, “Licensees”).
In November 2018, the Cannabis Control Commission (“Commission”) instituted a three (3) business day licensee notification requirement in commence operations notices. This required Licensees to notify the Commission three (3) business days in advance of their official opening date.
Effective immediately, the three (3) business day requirement is no longer in effect. Licensees must still provide the Commission with notification of their intent to commence operations, as outlined in the commence operations notice, but they are no longer required to wait three business days before commencing operations.
