Subject: Bulletin – Applicant Fingerprinting
On April 2, 2020, the Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) published a bulletin regarding its COVID-19 procedures for Applicant Fingerprinting.
Following the May 11, 2023 Executive Office of Health and Human Services announcement ending the COVID-19 state of emergency, the Commission is publishing this bulletin to rescind its April 2, 2020 bulletin re: Applicant Fingerprinting.
Effective immediately, applicants for licensure will be required to complete fingerprinting as part of their initial application requirements in accordance with 935 CMR 500.101(1)(b)(2)(f).
If you had an approved Change of Ownership between April 2, 2020 and the date of this bulletin, and did not attend a fingerprinting appointment you will be required to do so.
Licensing staff will reach out to individuals who have not completed their fingerprinting requirement with additional instructions.
