Coverage Details: “Moving Ahead with Marijuana” Event for Municipalities Today
BOSTON—In partnership with the Social Law Library and in collaboration with the Massachusetts Municipal Association, the Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) has invited local leaders and the public to participate in “Moving Ahead with Marijuana: Municipal Perspectives from Marijuana-Forward Communities” today, Tuesday, December 18 starting at 1 p.m.
The required registration for this event is already at capacity. Media access will be limited to journalists who RSVP and TV broadcast pool coverage from WCVB/Channel 5. Reporters should bring press IDs with them.
Press activities will be limited to the Special Collections Reading Room, the Social Law Library room in which the event will be hosted, and adjacent areas where light refreshments will be available and registration will take place. No filming, photographing, or interviewing will be allowed in the main reading room of the library or the front elevator lobby or circulation areas. The Commission will post a recording of the panels to its YouTube channel following the event.
Where: Social Law Library, Adams Courthouse, 1 Pemberton Square, 4th floor, Boston
Attendees are advised to leave adequate time to proceed through security at the public entrance to the Adams Courthouse at 1 Pemberton Square. Discounted parking at a rate of $25.00 will be available to attendees at the Government Center Garage (50 Sudbury Street, Boston) through the Social Law Library.
