DESCRIPTION: \nMarch 9, 2024\n12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.\nLocation:\nBrockton Public Library\n304 Main Street\nBrockton, MA 02301\n\n\nThe Commission’s Equity Programming and Community Outreach (EPCO) team will host the second of six Application Clinics to support prospective applicants interested in applying for the SEP. The program offers free, statewide technical assistance and training that creates sustainable pathways into the regulated cannabis industry for individuals most impacted by the War on Drugs.\nCommission staff will provide applicants with resources to assist their submission of application materials to the SEP and provide additional information about the program. To learn more about the application process, please visit masscannabiscontrol.com/equity.\nParticipants will receive support in the following areas:\n\nCreating an account- through the online Massachusetts Cannabis Industry Portal (MassCIP), thereby enabling participants to walk away with a fully set-up MassCIP account;\nUnderstanding eligibility criteria for acceptance into the SEP;\nLearning about required and accepted documentation;\nClarifying benefits offered to participants accepted into the SEP; and\nAnswers to frequently asked questions.\n\nThe following resources also will be available:\n\nInvestigations and Enforcement resources about the Commission’s licensing process;\nTechnical Assistance and Training information, including SEP curriculum course sheets and course descriptions;\nBrockton City Officials and staff to share the municipal perspective of the local licensing process.\nMassCultivatED expungement resources; and\nMassachusetts Executive Office of Economic Development (EOED) resources on the Cannabis Social Equity Trust Fund.\n\nAgain, this is part of a series of six Application Clinics the Commission is hosting throughout the state. Each Application Clinic will offer similar resources and materials.
